About Forest City Derby Girls

Forest City Derby Girls were originally formed in early 2006 by a group of women dedicated to bring back the sport of Roller Derby to the London Area. Taking the sport back to its original quad roller skating roots, thereis currently two teams within the FCDG: The Thames Fatales and The Lucious Lunch Ladies.Currently recruiting for 2011/2012 season to expand the league, we are currently looking for Fresh Meat to tenderize! We have the opportunity this year to play teams from all over Ontario, and bring this on to our Home turf.

Home games are held at the Western Fair Building, but the league is looking for space to hold more games and scrimmages for the current season and beyond. If you have or know of space available, please contact sufferjet [at] forestcityderbygirls [dot] com.
FCDG is recruiting new players and is actively searching for sponsors and volunteers. If you are interested in joining as a player, please contact Anya Face at anyaface [at] gmail [dot] com. If you are interested in sponsoring FCDG, download our current sponsorship package (PDF).

FCDG is committed to women being independent, strong, and athletic. By supporting the league, you'd be giving women in London, Ontario their own sport, physical fitness, and contact sport outlet. FCDG fans are of all types and ages.

Come on out to a game to check it out, and support your local roller derby!
