Forest City Derby Girls

About the Forest City Derby Girls

Thames FatalesForest City Derby Girls originally formed in early 2006 by a group of women dedicated to bring back to sport of roller derby to the London, Ontario area. Taking the sport back to its original quad roller skating roots, a team called the London Thrashers emerged with a second team, Thames Fatales, added soon after.

Recently, the FCDG has merged into one kick-ass team of rollergirls, the Thames Fatales, and is playing their 2009 season against teams across Ontario.

Home games are held at the Western Fair Building, but the league is looking for space to hold more games and scrimmages for the current season and beyond. If you have or know of space available, please contact sufferjet@forestcityderbygirls.com.

FCDG is recruiting new players and is actively searching for sponsors and volunteers. If you are interested in joining as a player, please contact Anya Face at rocknrolltomato@hotmail.com. If you are interested in sponsoring FCDG, download our current sponsorship package (PDF).

FCDG is committed to women being independent, strong, and athletic. By supporting the league, you'd be giving women in London, Ontario their own sport, physical fitness, and contact sport outlet. FCDG fans are of all types and ages.

Come on out to a game to check it out, and support your local roller derby!
